Instapaper 3.0 for iPhone and iPad is now available in the App Store, and I’ve updated the Instapaper website to include many of its new features as well. This is the biggest update Instapaper has ever had in one version, and I’m proud to finally show it to you.

Click through for the entire post (and if you read online a lot and aren’t using Instapaper….what are you waiting for?). I wanted to highlight two things Marco’s done in the upgrade that I’d love to see web / app developers adopt across the board:
1) Credentials and sharing preferences only have to be set once (on either the web service or one of the mobile apps) and are then synced across all platforms.
2) Posting to services while offline - another huge win. Often I have no or poor connectivity and being able to save something I want to share for when I have connectivity is something I’d love to have in other services (for example PicPlz, SoundCloud or FourSquare).
