There are so many things I like about this chart. First of all, IDC really has been around for ever, hasn’t it? Second, Apple dominating the business systems market (33%!!). And finally, the computer my family had when I was a kid, the Commodore, coming in a respectable 2nd in the massive 1.1 million systems consumer market.
I’m really excited about what kind of services and apps will be developed for the iPad (and other touchscreen devices, but the iPad is going to lead the way)
